UACED provides project support and technical assistance to local governments, government agencies, and non‐profit organizations working to establish and market motorized and non‐motorized recreational trails in communities across Alabama. Assistance covers the spectrum of project and program development includes identification of assets and opportunities, project feasibility evaluation, organization and strategy, real estate acquisition, identification and coordination of public and private partners, site master planning, environmental impact assessment, environmental sustainability, fundraising, public communications, and marketing.
