Learn about the partnership between SORBA, Monte Sano State Park, and the Land Trust of North Alabama in the development and management of over 60 miles of mountain bike trails through a combined protected area of over 3,700 acres. Bring your mountain bike and join a representative of SORBA for a guided tour of some of the easier trails.
Bradford Creek Greenway Tour
Experience the City of Madison’s beautiful creek side greenway path in person and see how it effectively connects people to where they live, work, play, and learn as part of a larger on and off-street bicycle-pedestrian system under development. Bring comfortable shoes to explore by foot or feel free to bring your bike and ride.
Big Cove Creek & Flint River Greenways / Hays Nature Preserve
Experience a thoughtfully planned outdoor recreational mecca in one of the most picturesque settings in Alabama…and by the way, it’s in the city limits of Huntsville! The Big Cove Creek and Flint River Greenways provide bicycle-pedestrian connectivity to walking paths and horseback riding trails within a 538 acre nature preserve located alongside the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Hampton Cove Golf Course. Bring comfortable walking shoes to explore this remarkable area, which provides a multitude of outdoor activities to the public.
